Who Am I?
Welcome to my site. I'm Bradford Mance, and I am a programmer. My interest in computers began ironically when my parents suggested that I keep our computer up to date. Evenutally, what started out as a mere chore evolved into a true passion as time moved on. I started to learn more about how a pc works from my uncle and from articles I found online. After high school, I went to Georgia State University where I eventually graduated from with a Bachelors degree in Computer Science with a concentration in computer software systems in 2012. Afterwards, I began working for an ad agency as Web Developer to help cultivate a secondary passion I learned while I was in college.
While studying Computer Science in college, I began to start a temporary club to further grow my passions as a gamer with others. In order to do that, I began to work with someone to create a website for the club. As the site began to grow more and more, I began to grow in interest in Web Development even more. I became fascinated with how beautiful functional and elegant websites were along with the potential of the world wide web. Eventually, that passion led me to learn more even after the club was over, and landed me an internship with Intouch Ministries and eventually a role as a Web Developer for an ad agency here in Atlanta. I have 6 years of work experience as a Web Developer, and I am quite proficient in Html, PHP, Javascript, Wordpress, and much more.
After graduating high school, I went to Georgia State University and intitally pursued a degree in Computer Science with a minor in art. Eventually, I decide to drop my minor and shift my focus to a concentration in Computer Software systems because of my passion for video games. I initially wanted to go into the game industry to help promote positive influence in all genders and races within games. However, as I went deeper into my concentration, I began to realize the vast and potential I am quite procificent in Java, C, and Unix. I also have some experience programming with Objective C as well.
As a child, I intitially hated reading books, and did so only to pass the grade. However, as I read more and more over the years, I started to see how vast and fascinating certain books are, and appreciate their value. Eventually, this inspired me to write my own books for fun as a way to test my creative mindset, and to write my own creative thoughts in words for those to read.
